first song!!

I got the music for my first song over the weekend, the song is the prayer of a walking child. I sang the song for my wards trek trip. After the trip they wanted me to record the song in studio. So I recorded it in the studio and when I got a chance to talk to my mentor I asked him if I could get a copy of the track for my personal use. During the trek video people kept commenting on how good the song was, some were even surprised when they heard that I had sung it, they had thought it was recorded by a professional artist and we just got it off of you tube or another music site.

My first video!!

My first video was just posted, this is a video describing the channel and what it'll be about and everything. I am pretty nervous but also really excited! My next step is to share my video everywhere I can and get it out there so more people can see it. One thing I have to make sure I do is take both criticism and compliments with equal amounts of skepticism, because there will always be people who are sitting behind a keyboard making rude comments and just being bullies, and I will need to make sure that I don't let that get to me. Because that can tear people apart, and that is never good. I want to be an influence for good and be there for people. So I need to address any bullies without glorifying them or giving them too much attention.

So this year I've decided that my project I'd going to be a YouTube channel where I lost videos of me covering popular songs. My mentor this year will be my priests quorum advisor David Banner, he has all the sound recording studio things I will need, my biggest issue will be getting the music. We me I don't suspect this to be a big issue it will still take a little bit of time.
